I can't believe Kaelyn is almost two weeks old! She's already changed so much and it's been fun to see her become more coordinated and aware of her surroundings. She has such a funny personality. Whenever she's awake she's so squirmy and fidgety, its so cute! This last weekend Nevin and Susan were able to come down to spend some time with us. We spent a few days together and watched the Idaho Falls fireworks from our house! Since Kaelyn was born we were finally able to finish painting her nursery. It is yet to be finished though! We are still so grateful to have her here with us and love her so much. She brings so much joy to our family!

It was so nice that Amber was able to come up and visit for a little while.
So for almost the last full week now Kaelyn has been rolling over onto her belly all by herself. I've never caught the whole thing on camera. This footage starts with her on her side and she ends up on her belly, but she started from being on her back. Whenever we lay her on the floor on her back she gets so hyper and excited and she rolls herself over. It's so cute!

ReplyDeleteCongrats both of you! She is so adorable. I'm glad that you all are doing so well. I remember that first couple of weeks being pretty crazy but it's all so worth it. I can't believe I will be doing it all again in just a little less than 4 months! Congrats again, she is way cute!
